The Educational Leaders gathered for a rich session of professional learning and collegial discussion, continuing our commitment to offering meaningful development and networking opportunities across our services.
Together, they workshopped a reflection resource designed to support curriculum decision-making, and ongoing improvement through regular, intentional, and critical reflection practice.
Educational Leaders also engaged in conversations on effective and empowering relational coaching and mentoring practices, with a focus on how these interactions can be documented to strengthen mentoring cycles and demonstrate growth over time.
As part of the session, Educational Leaders also participated in a cultural learning experience in recognition of Diwali. Sarika, Educational Leader from our Happy Valley centre, shared her knowledge of Henna traditions and demonstrated the artistry and cultural significance behind the practice. Educational Leaders were then invited to create and apply their own Henna designs on themselves and one another, engaging in a hands-on activity that fostered cultural appreciation, connection and wellness, and shared celebration.
The session concluded with a collaborative review of curriculum documentation, providing an opportunity to share approaches, refine processes, and deepen collective understanding.
These gatherings reaffirm the value of shared expertise, reflective dialogue, and professional connection in strengthening educational leadership across our community.
