Delivering quality childcare to families in Aberfoyle Park and surrounding areas

With 6 spacious rooms filled with educational resources, our purpose-built facilities make our Aberfoyle Park childcare centre a nurturing environment for learning through play. Take a sneak peek inside our centre below...

About the centre

We have a large nature yard ready for children to explore their natural environment that is filled with wooden logs, bench seats, native plants and large gumtrees which attract local native animals such as koalas and kookaburras.

We are a Sun Smart Centre, but also encourage children to bring their gumboots and raincoats during the winter months to experience the wet weather by splashing in puddles and stomping in mud.

Our curriculum is created around four important aspects, these are the child’s interests, parent input, community events and intentional teaching led by our Educators and based on the Early Years Learning Framework.

Healthy food is enjoyed daily by the children which are cooked fresh on-site by our cook. The menu is simple yet varied, encouraging the discovery of different tastes and textures. It is a four-week rotating menu that changes seasonally.

My daughter has been going here for a bit over 2 years and we love it. The staff genuinely care about the children like they would their own. Highly recommend

Meet the Centre Director

Hello, my name is Darlene Woodhall and I am the Centre Director at Stepping Stone Aberfoyle Park.

I have worked at Stepping Stone (SA) since 2008. I have my Advanced Diploma in community services and my Diploma in Early Education and Care. I have lived most of my life in the southern suburbs, which gives me history and insight into our local community. I have three wonderful adult children.

Our centre has a diverse variety of outdoor play spaces, including a large nature yard, where children can play and explore.

My passion is providing quality early childhood education and care through inclusive, child-initiated programs, encouraging healthy life choices and providing endless learning opportunities for children and families.

My team and I look forward to welcoming you to our remarkable centre.
