About the centre

We offer an outstanding, purpose-built centre, where we cater for children from 6 weeks and can see them right through until they start their schooling.

We have a dedicated early childhood teacher on-site, who delivers a comprehensive pre-school program and works closely with the junior school staff at Rostrevor College.

It is this close working relationship with Rostrevor College which sets us apart from most. This relationship sees us utilising many of the college facilities, including library visits, their gymnasium, ovals, and environment centre as well as attending buddy class activities with the reception and year 1 class.

Through our work with the college, we are able to assist with a smooth, relaxed transition from early learning to school for our children.

We look forward to showing you through our wonderful centre.

My son started here 3 months ago, and he absolutely loves it here. He’s formed a strong bond with all his educators, who all show compassion and caring for him. During the short lockdown last year, the staff called to make sure we were ok at home. Their communication is second to none, they always notify me if there is an issue, give me an update of his day when I collect him and call to check how he’s doing if he’s off.

Meet the Centre Director

Hello and welcome to Rostrevor College Stepping Stone Early Learning Centre.

My name is Kelsey and I am the Centre Director at Rostrevor College Stepping Stone Early Learning Centre. It is with great pleasure that I would like to introduce myself to you all.

I started my journey with Angle Vale Stepping Stone as a trainee in 2007 from there I have spent time across our Evanston, Tea Tree Gully and Collinswood centres between various roles from Lead Educator and Centre Director. Between the years 2018-2023 I spent time as a stay at home mum to my 3 beautiful children while casually delivering Baby Sensory sessions to various councils. I have been provided the opportunity to return to a Centre Director role here at Rostrevor College
Stepping Stone Early Learning Centre. This is an honour and a privilege to continue my professional development in this role.

Here at Rostrevor College Stepping Stone ELC, we have the opportunity to become involved with Rostrevor College, enjoying trips to visit their animals and visiting their library. Our inspiring educators are committed to positive outcomes for children by promoting play based learning and using the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) as our educational platforms.

I look forward to also forming a bond with Rostrevor College Stepping Stone ELC with opportunities for both Children and Educators.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time outside and short getaways with my family.

My team and I look forward to working in partnership with your family to provide a safe, happy and caring environment where the best educational outcomes are possible for your child.
