Hello, my name is Michelle Reynolds, and I am the Centre Director at Stepping Stone Curtis Road.
I began my journey in Early Childhood Education in 2021, when I commenced my Certificate III studies and completed my placement here at Stepping Stone Curtis Road. This placement led to full-time employment, where I started as a support staff member in the baby room (Willy Wagtails). After completing my Certificate III, I went on to study my Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
Following this, I progressed into the role of Team Leader in the Nursery, where I spent a significant portion of my career. I then moved into the position of Assistant Director, further developing my leadership skills and contributing to the growth of the centre. I am now proud to be appointed as the Centre Director.
Leadership has always come naturally to me, and I take great pride in mentoring and supporting others. As Centre Director, my priority is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where all children, families, and staff feel welcomed, secure, and supported.
At Curtis Road, our team is committed to fostering respectful interactions built on meaningful relationships. We strive to create a strong sense of belonging for everyone in our centrecommunity.
As a mother of three children, I have a natural instinct to nurture and support the growth and wellbeing of young children. I have always known that becoming an Early Childhood Educator was the right career path for me – it is where I feel I truly belong, both professionally and personally.
