New Child Care Package for Families

From 2 July 2018, Australia will have a new child care package. Under the new package, the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) will replace the existing Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate.  CCS will be the main way the Government assists families with their child care fees.

Overview:

Here at Stepping Stone Para Hills we pride ourselves on providing a safe, inviting and nurturing learning environment for all of our children and families.

Our amazing team of experienced educators are passionate people who work strongly together to build positive, respectful relationships with children and families as well as developing the strongest learning possibilities and opportunities to assist each individual child with their learning and development.

Inside/Outside play is an important part of our embedded practice that is implemented every day, rain, hail or shine. This practice provides the children with the opportunity to make choices, explore their  natural surroundings, investigate and develop respect and awareness for their natural environments whilst promoting their autonomy.

Meet the Centre Director

Hello, my name is Natasha Purdey and I am the Centre Director of Stepping Stone Para Hills. I have been with Stepping Stone since January 2011, working at various centres and gaining valuable knowledge in different positions along the way. I have worked in childcare for nearly 13 years, starting out as a trainee and working my way up to my current position as Centre Director. Personally, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, although playing netball does take up most of my time! Stepping Stone Para Hills prides itself on providing quality child care in a quality environment. Our team is extremely passionate and committed to developing partnerships with all our families and assisting children to grow and develop through their early childhood life. I aim to provide a supportive base for my staff team that builds on the foundations already set and guides them to further their knowledge and passion. I look forward to meeting you and showing you through our remarkable centre!
