Stepping Stone Blakeview Child Care & Early Development Centre is located in the new community development of Blake’s Crossing, situated next to school and the local community oval and playground.

Our new purpose built centre was opened in October 2015 and we have several naturally developed play areas for the children to explore and discover.

Our educators create a friendly and caring atmosphere where your child will feel supported to learn and develop at their own individual pace.

The community plays a vital part of our centre, and we take part in local events throughout the year. We welcome parent feedback and enjoy having them involved within the centre activities.

Please feel free to come in and have a look around, we look forward to meeting you!

Meet the Centre Director

Hi my name is Kate Watson and I am the Centre Director at Stepping Stone Blakeview. I have been with Stepping Stone (SA) since 2012. I started my journey with Stepping Stone (SA) as a Leading Educator at our Stepping Stone Para Hills Centre before securing the Assistant Director role at Stepping Stone Blakeview in 2015. A bit about me - I am family orientated and enjoy spending time with my beautiful niece and nephew. Meeting up with friends, an enjoyment of healthy eating and physical activity are integral to creating a balanced lifestyle. I have been working in the education and care sector for 13 years and have had the opportunity to be part of many children’s lives during this time. Starting out as a trainee, I have undertaken a journey of personal growth and development achieving my Diploma qualification. I am committed to providing good quality education and care in an environment that all children feel safe and secure and where they can belong, be and become successful in their own individual self. At Stepping Stone Blakeview we encourage all families to be part of our extended family. Your ideas, engagement and feedback is important to us to ensure that you are actively involved in your child’s education and care. As a Centre we are committed to supporting the local community and are active participants in many local events. We encourage you to join us, where we can all share in the fun together. I look forward to meeting you and showing you around our wonderful centre.
