Our Be You Action Team Leaders (ATL), recently met for the second time this year.
We were fortunate to have our Be You consultant Cris attend, providing valuable information and guidance to all in navigating the resources available on the Be You website.
Cris was able to provide guidance to the ATLs on developing and implementing site plans for building the understanding and knowledge of educators to support mental health and wellbeing at their centres. Discussions explored planning for these identified needs, and included consideration of possible enablers as a strategy for addressing potential barriers in the implementation of their plans.
These meetings provide valuable opportunities for participants to share what they are doing in their role of ATL at their centre.
The following presentations shared the journey of two of our centres:
- ‘Identifying our learning community’s needs’ – Presented by Be You Action Team Leader Jess from Lightsview
- ‘Mental Wellness Together: Implementing ‘Be You’ for staff and families’ – Presented by Be You Action Team Leader Tayla from Angle Vale
Sharing insights into their work as Be You Action Team Leaders provides new ideas and perspectives that can be explored across our learning communities.
