We are thrilled to announce that several of our centres have been selected as Partner Services to deliver the South Australian Government’s new 3-year-old preschool program, commencing in January 2026.
This initiative is part of the state government’s $1.9 billion Flying Start reform, which aims to provide universal access to 15 hours per week of teacher-led, play-based preschool education for every South Australian child by 2032.
What is 3-Year-Old Preschool?
The 3-year-old preschool program is a play-based early learning initiative led by qualified early childhood teachers. It focuses on nurturing children’s confidence, curiosity, and social skills—laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning. One of the key goals of the program is to reduce the proportion of children developmentally vulnerable when they start school from 23.8% to 15% over the next 20 years.
