About the centre

Stepping Stone Tanunda Child Care & Early Development Centre is located in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Our new centre was opened in March 2012 and our play spaces are all naturally landscaped. Our children have access to many garden beds throughout the centre, which enables our children to gain an understanding of their environment.

We are fortunate to have access to several natural reserves where our children can extend their learning on the environment, whilst exploring, investigating and having fun.

Engaging with the community is embedded in the program at the centre. Our staff and children are actively involved in a variety of community events throughout the year.

Meet the Centre Director

Hello, My name is Pricilla Heidenreich and I am the Centre Director here at Stepping Stone Tanunda Childcare & Early Development Centre which is based in the beautiful Barossa Valley.

I have been with Stepping Stone (SA) since December 2009, beginning my journey as a leading educator and working my way up to the role of the Centre Director. I live on a vineyard with my husband and together we have three wonderful children who also enjoy the Barossa Lifestyle.

At Stepping Stone Tanunda we believe in creating an environment that allows our children to feel secure and be part of a centre that prides itself on spending time outdoors, using natural resources and being involved in our local community.

We have a very passionate and dedicated team that is here to provide our children with the best learning environment possible.

We look forward to showing you through our remarkable centre and making you and your child part of our family.
