About the centre

At Stepping Stone RAH we are fortunate to be in a very unique and rare facility, providing the RAH staff and local community a new centre that offers spectacular views of the city.

Our centre is in the heart of Adelaide city allowing our children to be able to experience many educational opportunities within the community. The children regularly go on local walks and actively participate in the local activities that the city provides.

Our facility consists of 5 main rooms and one large outdoor play space that all ages share. We offer a number of veggie patches, fruit trees, a worm farm and natural resources. The children are able to look out at the local surroundings using our circular peepholes that are positioned along the wall of the outside yard.

We believe Stepping Stone RAH offers a place for a positive learning environment for children to develop and grow at their own pace. Allowing children and families to feel like they are part of our extended family and create lifelong memories.

Reflective of company priorities, our educators engage in a culture of critically reflecting on their practices to support continued growth within the centre. We aim to offer our families quality education and care from a team of highly trained professionals that are passionate about early childhood education.

Could not recommend Stepping Stone RAH enough. Our little one loves going to childcare, as he gets exposed to new positive experiences every time he attends the centre and comes home showing off his new learnings. I was really worried about taking my boy to childcare at a very young age, but the Educators made me feel at ease with their professionalism and caring nature. Meet the Centre Director

Welcome to Stepping Stone RAH Childcare & Early Development Centre.

Hello, my name is Teresa Nastasi and I am the Centre Director of Stepping Stone RAH.

I would like to take this opportunity of telling you a little about myself. I have been married since 1980, my husband and I have 4 daughters and 4 grandchildren. I have been working within the early year’s sector since 1994. I possess an Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services and throughout my career I have worked as a Team Leader, Assistant Director and Centre Director and have also worked within the Education Department. I am proud to now be leading the team here at Stepping Stone RAH.

I believe that children are our future, and as such children must be nurtured, providing the best possible care. I hold strong beliefs in ensuring our centre offers a warm and inviting environment for all – children, families and staff. The centre is proud of being a warm, friendly and safe place where children can learn through play at their own pace. Our Educators are passionate and committed to providing the children the best possible quality of care.

I very much look forward to meeting you and showing you our remarkable centre.
