About the centre

Building friendly, strong relationships with our families is something we strive on as a staff team and believe it is an important part of ensuring the families feel a sense of belonging within our centre.

We believe that planning a play based curriculum that is reflective of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards is crucial to a child’s learning and wellbeing. Having a close connection with families allows us to collaborate in curriculum decisions for each individual child, respecting their values, culture and beliefs.

Meet the Centre Director

Hello, my name is Lauren Clarke and I am the Centre Director here at Stepping Stone Para Hills.

I have worked for Stepping Stone for 4 years and over this time, I have gained experience working as an educator through to being a Centre Director. This has given me the opportunity to build foundations with children of all ages and strong relationships with families.

I currently hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and I am passionate and dedicated to providing high quality education and care to all children. I believe that relationships are integral to a child’s wellbeing, and that strong, secure attachments support children in their learning journeys.

When I am not working, I spend my time with close family and friends, exploring Adelaide and travelling with my partner. My motto in life is to always start the day knowing that “everyday is an opportunity to achieve something great!”

Here at Para Hills, we are fortunate to work alongside a well experienced and highly qualified team who all have the passion and drive to provide children with the highest quality of care and learning.
